Presence of the invasive land flatworm Platydemus manokwari (Platyhelminthes, Geoplanidae) in Guadeloupe, Martinique and Saint Martin (French West Indies)

The land flatworm Platydemus manokwari (Platyhelminthes, Geoplanidae) is recorded from the islands of Guadeloupe, Martinique, and Saint Martin in Caribbean arc. Photographs records were obtained mainly citizen science ranged end 2018 to February 2021; several specimens deposited collections Muséum National d’Histoire Naturelle Paris, France. Thirty but only one Martinique Martin, respectively. COI sequences 3 Guadeloupe show that they belong World haplotype also found many countries. We report P. Fort Myers, Florida, USA, with molecular characterization, which was haplotype. This first published record for second Caribbean, after Puerto Rico.
